Most customers with a TAL Accelerated Protection policy are eligible to register.

The exception is if your policy is:

- Joint Owned.
- Company Owned.

For previously Branded BT, Westpac or St.George customers

The exception is if you one of the following policy structures or types:

- SMSF Owned.
- Joint Owned.
- Company Owned.
- Protection Choices Product.

All Investment Life policies are unavailable on myTAL.

We’re continuing to expand access, so if you are not eligible now, we will let you know when myTAL becomes available to you.

Registration is simple:

Visit the myTAL registration page and enter your email address.

1. Enter your date of birth and one of your policy numbers.

2. If your details match our records, you’ll be prompted to create a password.

3. Enter your mobile number to set up multi factor authentication.

4. Enter the one time verification code sent to your mobile to confirm your identity.

5. You’re all set. Welcome to myTAL.

Once you’ve registered:

1. Log in to your myTAL account.

2. Select Add policy from the dashboard or top navigation.

3. Enter your policy number and select Add policy.

4. If the details match our records, the policy will be added to your account.

5. Click Confirm.

You can add multiple policies to your account. No need to log out or refresh. Your account will update automatically once you click Confirm.

You can choose how you receive your communications - either digitally via myTAL or by post. You can only update your communication preferences for policies that are registered with myTAL.

We’ll send you an email or SMS notification whenever a document is ready for you to view on myTAL, so you’ll never miss important updates.

No. There’s currently no cost to you to receive your policy communications by post instead of digitally via myTAL.

Yes. You can update your communication preferences at any time in myTAL.

No, selecting digital communications will not impact or alter your policy in any way. It only changes the way we deliver information to you.
